Hello! I hope that you are well and you are enjoying the lighter evenings and warmer weather, I certainly am!
This month I have been really busy with singing…
The first weekend of June was the Jubilee weekend. I sang at five different events to celebrate our Queen through music and patriotic songs. My first performance of the weekend was with FaNs Network, singing for many care homes, some of which haven’t been out of their home since before the pandemic. This was really special and great fun as I also met Mr Motivator! Another highlight was singing at a festival in Essex.
On the 14th of June, I was honoured to be asked to sing for the fifth memorial service of Grenfell. Five years on from the dreadful fire at Grenfell Tower where 72 people tragically lost their lives.
Over the past years I have met and spoken with survivors, family members and the community who have always been so inspiring with their united love and determination for justice.
It was an honour to be asked to sing in Westminster Abbey for a very moving and emotional service.
I have been in the studio this month and I have almost finished two new songs with a slight twist.. I will let you know when they are on Spotify.
Today I’m teaching singing all day, doing an audition and then I’m very excited to be going to see my best friend in Yorkshire for a couple of days to catch up and relax!
