Wow this year is really flying by! I have been incredibly busy..

Last week, On June 14th I was honoured to sing at the Grenfell memorial service in All Saints Church, Notting hill. Who can believe it has been six years since the dreadful fire. I sang Ave Maria and Hallelujah and spoke with survivors and families. It’s always an honour to be asked to sing in the hopes of comforting the community, the Grenfell community really are the loveliest people and such an inspiration with everything they have and still are facing.

 
 
 

 

 

At the beginning of June, I sang with Russell Watson and Mike Moran in my home county of Essex, in Chelmsford Cathedral. It was a wonderful evening and it was amazing to see so many familiar faces in the audience.
 

I also sang with the operatic tenor Bonaventura Bottone and the Thaxted Singers a couple of weeks ago in beautiful Thaxted church. We sang the drinking song from Traviata which was great fun and Bonaventura was such a lovely person to work with.

 
 
This Saturday, 24th June, I am performing a concert in St Mary’s Church in Farnham, Bishops Stortford. The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £10. There will be tickets on the door if you decide to turn up on the night! It’s going to be a beautiful night of songs from musicals, popular opera, classical favourites and more! I have more exciting news – I am singing with Russell Watson next month in Wells Cathedral on July 19th, Truro Cathedral on July 21st and Exeter Cathedral July 22nd all as part of his Magnificent Buildings Tour and then we are in Gawsworth on Sunday 23rd of July!
I am also supporting G4 in Lavenham on August 8th!
I’m preparing myself for a very busy summer… lots of singing and also lots of lovely things in my personal life which I will share in my next newsletter
